Black Boaters Summit Learn to Sail Program
July 24th - Aug 10th, 2008Tortola, British Virgin Islands Learn to Sail Itinerary
 You will begin your ASA certification process on a Moorings 32.2 and a Moorings 433 which will serve as your home, classroom and training vessels. You will follow ASA 101 , ASA 103 ,and ASA 104 certification materials and complete both a written and on the water test.
THURSDAY, JULY 24 Arrive St. Thomas, USVI and ferry to Road Town Tortola, BVI . Taxi to The Moorings Mariner Inn Hotel.
6PM Dinner with Alan Johnson your sailing instructor at the Mariner Inn. FRIDAY, JULY 257AM Team Breakfast at the Mariner Inn.
8AM Briefing.
10AM - NOON Shop for provisions & board your Moorings 32.2 and begin your training.
1PM Sail to Cooper Island stay overnight SATURDAY, JULY 26 - JULY 30
ASA 101 training 5-6 hours daily with one hour of studying nightly THURSDAY, JULY 31 On the water testing. All pass and can sail the boat. FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 Written exams.
10AM Take your gear to your new yacht, the Footloose 433.
NOON - UNTIL BBS Party at the Morrings Mariner Inn.  FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 - WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6
ASA 103 & 104
You will sail with the BBS fleet, only while we are shucking and jiving, you'll be tacking and gibing... THURSDAY, AUGUST 7 On the water testing. Everyone passes. You can sail now, CAPTAIN. My congratulations.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 8 8AM Written test
NOON Take the ferry to The Westin St. John. Sleep. SATURDAY, AUGUST 9 7PM Captain Paul's white linen party
SUNDAY, AUGUST 10 WE GO HOME

All payments are non-refundable. Inquire about insurance to protect your vacation investment. Airfare is not included. Black Boaters Summit's LEARN TO SAIL PROGRAM- $2965 per person / double occupancy.
Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $600 per person is due at time of booking. Additional payments are $300 per person per month until paid in full. If upon maintaining your monthly schedule you are not paid in full by June 15th 2008, your final balance will be due at that time. You must make minimum monthly payments of $250 per person. All payments made to HONEY LETS TRAVEL are non-refundable |
